L'Épicerie musical is in full swing!

From July 29th to September 29th, Jean-Marc Bouchard from Quasar joins the happy team of artist-grocers roaming Montreal's parks, squares and public markets.

Don't miss their visit to your neighborhood by checking the full schedule of musical grocery stores.

A production of Escales Improbables, based on an original idea by Jérôme Minière, presented as part of the CAM on tour.

Quasar joins our many colleagues' and friends' voices to honor the memory of Gilles Tremblay, who passed away a few days ago. We send our heartfelt condolences to the family, to all his close friends and to all the Quebec music community who owes him a lot.

Quasar had the privilege of working with Mr. Tremblay in 2008 for "Levées" commissioned by Quasar. At that time, Mr. Tremblay, "retired from the conservatory", was a consecrated composer, enjoying a great recognition. He approached this new project with enthusiasm and tremendous freshness.

Following our call for proposals for eight Canadian commissioned works, we received 115 applications from all across the country.

The last application was registered  at 2:28 am, just 2 minutes before the closure of the call at 3:00 am !!

We are truly thrilled and honoured to have received all these applications. We want to warmly thank the composers who have submitted projects.
