Jesse Plessis is a classical pianist and composer based in Montréal. Originally from Sparwood, British Columbia, he studied with numerous distinguished teachers and institutions, including the University of Lethbridge, Brandon University, the Université de Montréal, and the Banff Centre. An active performer in Canada and abroad, he divides his time between composition, teaching, and concert performances.

Following the onset of focal dystonia in 2020, he increasingly shifted his focus toward composition. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Music in Composition at McGill University under the supervision of Philippe Leroux and has also benefited from mentorship opportunities with Ana Sokolović and Jocelyn Morlock.
