Rebonds cosmiques is based on the concept of the bounce, or ricochet, in disproportionate size. The title alludes to the recent "big bounce" theory, although the bounces in this work are more modest and adapted to the time and place parameters of a concert experience. The bounces are presented, deconstructed, fragmented and reversed, observed through a telescope and then a microscope. The microtones blur the clarity of what is happening by intertwining the lines of the instruments, creating sounds that exist without being played, by acoustic phenomena, and by generating slightly twisted harmonies.
